The challenge
MyConnect began 18 years ago when founders Hus and Rob recognised an opportunity to simplify utilities for residents. As the business grew, so did their vision. They wanted to do more than provide a service—they sought to make a difference. By supporting grassroots initiatives, MyConnect now contributes not only to more convenient connections but also to building healthier communities and a healthier planet.

The solution
MyConnect initiated a charitable arm, MyCommunities, which you can read more about here. MyCommunities is dedicated to supporting various community initiatives and environmental projects across Australia. Their commitment to the Australian landscape is clear: MyConnect has set ambitious targets, including planting 7,500 trees annually through Regenerate Australia, helping to create healthier communities and a healthier planet.
The impact
The incredible team at MyConnect exceeded their first-year target by planting over 9,000 trees in regional and community projects across Australia. Going beyond their monthly commitment, they also organised a special initiative for Earth Day to boost the number of trees funded—and the total keeps growing. The team at MyConnect understands that lasting impact comes from a long-term commitment to both community and the environment.
