Over 90% of Western Australia's northern wheatbelt was cleared for agriculture by European settlers, but the semi-arid climate is not always viable for farming and degrades easily. As a result of the land clearing, many native flora and fauna in this highly ecological biodiverse area are endangered or have already gone extinct.

The ”Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor” is a planting project that links up 12 nature reserves across approximately 10,100 hectares. It is one of the largest planting projects in the world and is the first native restoration project in Australia to achieve international Gold Standard accreditation. We partnered with Auscarbon Pty Ltd, to complete a 184 hectare site called Hillview within the project.
